With Bruce passing during Covid the Sutherland family never really got the big celebration of life, that they all felt like he deserved. With Bruce passing during Covid the Sutherland family never really got the big celebration of life, that they all felt like he deserved. Now as we are finally pass the pandemic, Jocelyn felt it was time to have that gathering. Thinking about it though and being the perfectionist Jocelyn is she realized that they could never have something big enough for her to be truly happy. This is how the bursary was born. It’s something that can happen every year ,be a fundraiser, remember Bruce and award a deserving student from the Adult High School.
Organizing September 2023's fashion show I notice a lot of people were unsure and confused about this brand new Bursary so I decided to create a website to hopefully answer some of these questions.

So the Adult High School was chosen. Bursary guidelines are that the student is going into college for TV/ Internet media or business administration. They could also be heading into the workplace for a similar field.
Bruce's dream was to have a successful TV production business but never got to fulfill that dream.
